Brush 1 was equipped with a 250 gallon tank and 250 gpm pump.  The Dodge Power Wagon chassis was purchased from St. Clair Motors in Jarrettsville, Md. The body was installed by the Glenn D. Culvert Company in College Park, Md. This unit served as a “light duty” rescue as well as a brush unit, because of its four wheel drive capability.
