1950’s ARMY SURPLUS TANK TRUCK

Engine 6 was purchased during the early 1950’s at a cost of $601.  This unit originally carried 200 gallons of water and was primarily used for brush and woods fires.  The members of the company then added another tank of equal size and utilized it as a tanker.
